About Bay Vouch
A free Tampa Bay directory so neighbors can find Muslim-owned groceries, meals, bakeries, services, and home businesses — and support each other with confidence.
What this is for
People use Bay Vouch between errands: find a place, see whether neighbors have vouched Muslim ownership, then call or open a map. The directory is linked to the Tampa Bay Muslims community and the neighbors around it. Paying never buys a listing or a vouch.
What a vouch is
A vouch is a neighbor’s word that a business is owned by a Muslim person or a Muslim family. That is the whole claim.
It is not a review, a star rating, or a judgment of food or service. It does not mean “worth buying,” and it is not a certification this site issues.
Vouch only if you know. If you are unsure, do not vouch. A false vouch harms the community.
How a vouch shows up
Know the owner
Vouch only if you know the business is owned by a Muslim person or a Muslim family. If you are unsure, do not vouch.
Vouch
You attest that one fact to your neighbors. It is not a review of the food or the service.
Count goes up
The number on the card is how many neighbors have attested. Right now every listing is still at 0.
How listing works
The businesses you can browse today come from the featured Facebook Halal Business Directory. Each card says Listed. Listed means the business is in this directory. It is not a vouch.
Owners can ask to be added with a short form. Ayoub or Taimur approve, decline, or contact them. Approving a request records admin intent; a new public card still has to be published. The Facebook post did not include phones or hours for most places — Ramallah Market’s phone comes from its public listing page.
Who runs it
Ayoub and Taimur run Bay Vouch. They invite and approve the people who can vouch, and they review get-listed requests. Google sign-in only proves who you are. An approved invite is what opens vouching.

What this directory is not for
No interest-based lending, payday products, or other riba pitches. No alcohol-forward businesses, and nothing that is not meant for a family to open together.
